The Ricoh on winter sport

Ive seen some examples of photos taken with the GR on the slopes, and they are absolutely fantastic. That is of course, if the light plays along as this camera, or at least the recipe I like to use really likes light.

Fortunately, my opportunity to try for myself came soon enough. Earlier this year, (March 2025) I had an opportunity to go on my first ski trip with some work colleagues. The entire ski experience is a story in its own right. Might write a separate blog in that.

Suffice to say, I was super eager to take the Ricoh with to see what it can do, but simultaneously scared of damaging it as I was told I will fall. a lot.

This was indeed the case, however I was lucky enough to never fall on the camera, at least not too hard.
